At the heart of my work is a simple truth: resilience is as contagious as trauma.
Whether I am sitting with an individual navigating grief and healing or partnering with an organization seeking to build healthier cultures, my mission is the same: to restore power through radical truth and equip people with the tools to thrive. As a trauma therapist, researcher, and founder of Centering Wholeness LLC, I bridge clinical expertise and original scholarship to create spaces where individuals and communities move beyond survival into renewal, strength, and sustainable growth.

For Individuals

I believe that healing is not just about surviving, but about coming home to yourself. As a trauma therapist and resilience researcher, I help individuals move through trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. My approach combines EMDR therapy, resilience-informed practices, and culturally responsive counseling to create a safe space where you are fully seen and supported.

I understand the weight of carrying stories across generations, cultures, and identities. Much of my clinical work has centered on supporting Black women, immigrant families, and those navigating systemic and interpersonal trauma. My doctoral research examined vicarious resilience, the growth counselors experience by witnessing client strength, which affirms my deep belief that resilience is contagious. The same resilience that allows clients to heal can also inspire your own transformation.

In our work together, you’ll find not only space for your pain, but also tools for renewal, clarity, and empowerment. Whether you are seeking relief from trauma symptoms, learning to trust yourself again, or simply longing for a life that feels aligned, my role is to walk alongside you with warmth, structure, and care.

For Organizations

I help organizations transform from the inside out by making resilience as contagious as trauma.
As a resilience researcher, trauma therapist, and founder of Centering Wholeness LLC, I partner with companies, healthcare systems, and mission-driven organizations to create cultures where employees thrive, not just survive.

My doctoral research, The Gift of Counseling: A Quantitative Exploration of Vicarious Resilience and Wellness Among Counselors, was one of the first empirical studies to measure how resilience predicts professional wellness. That same lens guides my consulting and speaking work, where I integrate the Ecological Resilience Framework™, Resilience-Informed Practices™, and the Coming Home to Yourself Protocol™ to address burnout, retention, and employee well-being.

I specialize in designing training and workplace initiatives that are trauma-informed, resilience-informed, culturally responsive, and research-driven. Whether through keynote speaking, continuing education, or embedding a Therapist-in-Residence model, I equip leaders with actionable strategies that improve wellness, strengthen retention, and foster environments where every person’s full humanity is welcomed at the door.

The most successful organizations are, at their core, the most human. My role is to help you build systems that reflect that truth, because when people are well, organizations grow.
